Privacy Policy
The operator (“Operator”) of “Fret Days” (the “Service”) sets out the following Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) regarding the handling of user information.
1. Business operator and contact
The Service is operated by a sole proprietor. The Operator's name, address, phone number, and similar details will be disclosed without delay upon request, in accordance with applicable law. Contact details are provided at the end of this Policy.
2. Information collected
The Service collects the following information:
- Email address (for account registration and login)
- Practice logs (information about practice sessions that users enter into the Service, such as date/time, duration in minutes, songs, routines, bookmarks, and audio memos)
- Payment-related information (for users of the PRO plan (paid plan)). Card details themselves are not held by the Operator and are handled by the payment processor.
- Contact form submissions (the message body, category, and reply-to email address entered in the contact form)
3. Purpose of use
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To store and display practice logs
- To process payments related to the PRO plan
- To authenticate users and respond to inquiries
4. Disclosure to and use of external services
The Service uses the following external services, to which information is sent as necessary:
- Vercel (hosting infrastructure): delivery and execution of the Service. Traffic information passes through Vercel as you access the Service.
- Supabase (authentication, database, and storage infrastructure): storage of data such as email addresses and practice logs
- Stripe (payment processing): payment processing for the PRO plan. Card numbers are not held by the Operator.
- YouTube (video embedding): playback of practice reference videos. Using the embedded player may send information to YouTube (Google).
- Google (when using Google sign-in): the Google account email address and similar information is linked to the Service for authentication.
- Resend (email delivery): used to notify the Operator of contact form submissions.
Please refer to each provider's own official site for their respective privacy policies.
5. Use of cookies, etc.
The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions.
The Service also uses Vercel Analytics for access analytics. It does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
6. Handling of audio data in the looper and similar features
Audio data loaded into the looper feature is stored only on your device (in the browser's local storage) and is never sent to the Operator's servers. Data stored on the Operator's servers, such as audio memos, is kept in a form accessible only to the account owner.
7. Disclosure to third parties
Except where required by law, the Operator does not disclose user information to third parties without the user's consent.
8. Deletion of data
Users can delete all of their own data (practice logs, recordings, etc.) at any time from the Settings screen, and can also fully delete their account (close the account) on their own from the Settings screen. Closing the account cancels any active PRO plan subscription and deletes all data and the account itself. Payment-related records may be retained by the payment processor (Stripe) for a period required by law. If you are unable to access Settings (for example, because you cannot log in), please contact us using the address below.
9. Revisions to this Policy
The Operator may revise this Policy as necessary. Revised content takes effect once displayed on the Service.
